The Poatina Golf Club and Community Club

Poatina Golf and Community Club features a stunning eighteen-hole golf course stretched across the plains of Poatina in Northern Tasmania.
Nestled at the foot of the Western Tiers, Poatina was built in the late 1950s1950's to house the workforce for the construction of the Great Lake Power Scheme and the Poatina Power Station, which was commissioned in 1966. Poatina Golf and Community Club is supported by the Tasmanian Government.

About Our Course

The picturesque eighteen-hole, nine-green golf course was developed by local volunteers in 1969 and officially opened in 1970 by the Commissioner of the Hydro Electric Commission. It quickly became the social hub of the community. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or just beginning, our course challenges and delights with every round.

Our premium membership includes unlimited access to our 18-hole course, exclusive memberonly tournaments and events including occasional raffles, and access to our facilities. Our annual membership rates are as follows:
